Viau's Meat Fundraiser Order Pick-Up
Please pick up your Viau's Meat fundraiser order tomorrow, Friday, May 10th, between 3:30 and 5:30 p.m. These need to be picked up ASAP because they are frozen, and we have nowhere to store them.

Making Bread and Butter
In Social Studies, we have been learning about the early pioneers of Michigan. This Friday was an amazing day! Mrs. White offered to come in and make bread with us. We started off by reading our recipe and activating the yeast. Next, everyone took turns adding ingredients and mixing. Everybody got a chance to kneed the dough. Then we waited for it to rise. The kids were surprised by how much it changed.
Once it was ready, the students shaped it into loaves and into the oven it went. When it was done we let it cool, then topped it off with butter we made in class that morning, and the students had their choice between homemade strawberry jam or apple butter.
It was so delicious that we ate every last crumb! Thank you Mrs. White!!!!!
